Dear Georgiana,
After
realizing that I had madly fallen in love with Elizabeth, I made the decision
of proposing to her. I went to the Collin's house and barged in. We stared into
each other’s eye for a few seconds and then I proposed. It was a rather quick, but meaningful proposal. Well, of course, she rejected it. Not even a minute, later she started to yell at me for Mr. Bingley leaving Jane. I guess I
deserved it, but I wonder who told her. It had to be Colonel Fitzwilliam. I am not
giving up on her. I have never felt like this before. I can’t wait for you to
meet her.
With
love,
Fitzwilliam
